Baptist employees between the ages of 30 and 65 had the opportunity to participate in the American Cancer Society’s Cancer Prevention Study-3 (CPS-3) this summer.
Researchers are trying to better understand the genetic, environmental and lifestyle factors that cause or prevent cancer.
The American Cancer Society (ACS) Associate Executive Director Lynette McBrayer (pictured left) and ACS Health Initiatives Representative JeanAnn Reeves (pictured right) along with the Epidemiology Research Program proudly recognized Baptist Health Systems support of the Cancer Prevention Study-3. And, they presented a plaque to Baptist Radiation Oncologist Richard Friedman, MD, and Baptist Administrative Director of Oncology and Neuroscience Services Deniece Ponder (pictured center right).
