Baptist Announces February Leaders in Healthcare

Lee Ann Foreman has been named Vice President of Human Resources for Baptist Health Systems in Jackson, Miss. Foreman has been with Baptist more than 10 years serving as the Director of Human Resources Department since 2009. Recently, she has overseen the implementation of Baptist's new organizational pay for performance initiative, Great Place to Work employee survey, and the development and implementation of our Reward and Recognition program, while also managing the day-to-day operations of her department. During her tenure at Baptist, Foreman has as served as a Baptist Recruiter, Compensation Analyst, and Human Resource Manager. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Mississippi State University.

Baptist congratulates other employees demonstrating their leadership skills as well:

Lauren Noel, RD, LD, CDE, with the Baptist Nutrition Center, passed the Certification Examination for Diabetes Educators. Outpatient Diabetes Management at the Baptist Nutrition Center now has two Certified Diabetes Educators. The program is Joint Commission Certified and Certified by the (AADE) American Association of Diabetes Educators.

Mary Reedy, BSN, RN has transitioned from the Education Resource Center to The Performance Improvement department as the Service Excellence Champion. She has over 10 years of bedside nursing and educational experience. Reedy also served as the president of shared governance during her employment at Prince William Hospital in Virginia. She has served as Baptist's Education Coordinator in the Education Resource Center.

Anna Baldwin, PharmD andMatthew Chambers, PharmD have been awarded speciality certification by the Board of Pharmacy Specialties (BPS). The BPS is the premier post-licensure certification program serving the profession of pharmacy. Dr. Baldwin is now a Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist (BCPS) and Dr. Chambers is a Board Certified Nutrition Support Specialist (BCNSP).

Staff Physicist Iram Shah in Radiation Oncology, passed his second written test en route to certification by The American Board of Radiology. This was the second part of three. His final test is an oral examination held annually with a panel of nationally recognized Physicists
