Steven M. Stanic (Steve) has joined Baptist as Chief Information Officer. Since 2007, Steve has been Vice President/CIO, Healthcare Practice for the Juran Institute.
He was responsible for the delivery of process improvement and quality services to the healthcare clients of Juran with particular focus on electronic health record implementation.
From 2006-2007 Steve was the National Director of the McKesson Solution Center, which is responsible for the implementation and on-going support of all McKesson, Revenue Cycle and Clinical applications. Steve also served as Vice President/CIO for Memorial Health in Savannah, Georgia. Memorial Health is one of the largest Health Systems in Southeast Georgia consisting of a 600 bed acute care academic medical facility; ambulatory centers, the second largest home health agency in the state of Georgia, over 200 employed physicians in over 40 owned physician practices.
He is an active member of the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives and a Senior Member of the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society.
