Baptist Medical Center in Jackson, Miss. is the tertiary referral hospital for Baptist Leake.
“It has been exciting to work with everyone in the community to expand our services to this area," said Baptist Health Systems Chief Executive Officer Chris Anderson. “This includes not only providing advanced specialty care support to Baptist Leake as a critical access hospital, but also operational initiatives that improve quality performance. This is consistent with our long-term strategy of developing partnerships with other hospitals in our secondary service area to ensure affordable and accessible health care."
Baptist Leake offers several outpatient services including endoscopy, general surgery evaluation, podiatry and wound care. According to Baptist Leake Administrator Daryl Weaver, “Plans for additional outpatient services are being researched and will be added in the future for patient convenience.”
Valley Foods is the vendor for a full operating cafeteria. Not only will it service patient meals, the cafeteria will be open to the public with a steam table, salad bar and grab and go options. There is a full seating dining hall located in the cafeteria for employee and public convenience.
