Different therapies may also be used in combination. Your doctor will recommend a treatment plan for your specific needs. In general, treatment options depend on the stage of the cancer, where it is located, symptoms, your age, and whether or not you have other medical conditions. Treatment may be delayed until the disease progresses to the point where symptoms occur.
