And, for the treatment of Heart Failure, the American Heart Association / American Stroke Association has awarded Baptist its Gold Performance Achievement Award in the Get With the Guidelines recognition program.

For our care of heart attack patients, The American College of Cardiology Foundation's NCDR ACTION Registry awarded Baptist with a Platinum Performance Achievement Award for 2013 in its Get With the Guidelines program. The recognition is awarded for treating heart attack patients according to the most current, science-based guidelines. The program establishes a national standard for understanding and improving the quality, safety and outcomes of care provided for patients with coronary artery disease, specifically high-risk STEMI and NSTEMI patients.
