A native of Grenada, Mississippi, Dr. Crowder completed his undergraduate degree at Millsaps College. He then earned his medical degree at the University of Mississippi Medical School, where he also completed his residency in internal medicine and his fellowship in cardiovascular diseases. He completed his fellowship in interventional cardiology at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston.
