Leader
One who inspires others to take action for a common good

Beth Kellogg

Nominated by Fannie D. Green

Fannie says, “Beth Kellogg is the epitome of a strong woman: a Christian, wife, mother, teacher, friend, and mentor, to name a few attributes. Beth is truly a leader. Unfortunately, she does not believe it, because Beth’s mindset is always focused on helping others. She does, however, understand that collaboration is vital in helping others; therefore, she inspires and encourages others to help those in need. Before Governor and Mrs. Barbour could make it to the coast after Hurricane Katrina, Beth had her radar going. She had the entire school and community excited about adopting Bay High School. She planned a trip of two buses filled with school principals, teachers, students, parents, herself and even her husband, to Bay High for a clean-up project. I describe her as a servant. Simply stated, Beth Kellogg is ‘Jesus with skin.’”
