Lindsay says, “One word that describes Haley is ‘courageous’ Haley is an outstanding second grade teacher at Sister Thea Bowman Catholic School in Jackson. Through my time here, I have come to the conclusion that one of the only reasons this school’s doors are open today is due to the impact Haley has upon the school through her dedication to its mission and, most importantly, her love for the students.

“Haley teaches with wisdom her students cannot ignore, and in a way unlike any other teacher I have seen: never raising her voice and treating every student with sincere respect and love. She has inspired me and so many others to love endlessly, have compassion for all people in all situations, and live a model life inspired by Jesus the Teacher.”
