Jill said, “ From my first meeting with her, I knew she would be a mentor to me. Ms. Street is a woman of strong character, loving compassion and great devotion. Not only is Ms. Street a wonderful professor in the classroom, she also desires to have a personal relationship with her students. She loves her profession with a passion and strives to fuel that passion in her students. It is common to see Ms. Street meeting with her students after class. Whether checking to see how the job interview went or congratulating a student on an article they wrote in yesterday’s paper, Ms. Street truly cares for her students. She is always encouraging and challenging. I will always be so appreciative of not only the excellent education I received in Ms. Street’s class but also for the friend and mentor that I gained for a lifetime.”
