This event will be held August 25-26, 2017 at the Golden Nugget Hotel and Casino in Biloxi, Mississippi. This conference is designed to provide exceptional education and networking opportunities. The purpose of this nurse practitioner symposium is to enhance the learner’s knowledge base in urogynecology, obstetrics, rheumatology, medical documentation/ coding, otolaryngology, endocrinology, oncology, entomology, cardiology, pharmacology, psychiatry, and neurology/neurosurgery in order to improve quality patient care when treating or referring the patient.
1. Review the latest assessments, standards of care, and treatment of patients related to urogynecology, obstetrics, rheumatology, medical documentation/coding, otolaryngology, endocrinology, oncology, entomology, cardiology, psychiatry, and neurology/neurosurgery.
2. Discuss pharmacological prescribing guidelines related to medication safety and other medical conditions when treating patients.
