The advantages of breastfeeding, pumping and storing milk, and breastfeeding on a working mother's schedule are other topics discussed.
This one session class teaches parents injury prevention and the correct CPR techniques for a new infant. This is a must for parents and others caring for your baby. There is a $5.00 charge for the instruction manual.

A new baby changes everybody's life and everyone should have a chance to be prepared. The exercise of childbirth has been compared to world-class athletic competition. Mom and baby both win when Mom is in good physical condition. Through water aerobic classes offered by the Baptist Healthplex, expectant mothers can maintain their fitness level, and new mothers can speed the recovery process--safely. Classes are held Monday through Thursday and are available at Baptist Healthplex - Jackson. Participants should attend three classes a week to benefit from this program. A physician and patient release, found in the Natal Fit, brochure, must be signed prior to participating in Natal Fit.
