Outlook Medical Weight Loss Program

This program is designed for adults and teenagers wanting to lose a moderate amount of weight. It is a less aggressive plan than the New Directions program, but you still get great results! Our licensed, registered dietitians and licensed professional counselors will provide you with one-on-one counseling as well as group classes to help you achieve the weight loss results you desire. 

Program Features:

• Moderate weight loss of one to three pounds per week (varies with activity level)
• Weekly check-in and group sessions on behavior modification, nutrition and exercise led by licensed professionals.
• Use of medically formulated, very low calorie, low-carbohydrate, high protein meal replacement beverages along with a personalized flexible meal plan.
• Customized menu plans with recipes and eating-out options
• Weight maintenance program offering monthly support sessions and access to nutritional products to help prevent weight gain
• Use of Baptist Healthplex (Jackson & Clinton) for up to three months is included in your joining fee. Personal trainers are on staff at both locations. (Personal training fees are not included.)

New Direction Medical Weight Loss Program

Our team of medical professionals combines nutrition education, behavior modification, exercise instruction and group support for a comprehensive, proven approach to weight loss. This medically monitored program teaches you the skills needed to achieve and keep a healthier weight.

Program Features:

• Rapid weight loss of 2-5 pounds per week
• Use of New Directions® medically formulated, very low calorie, low-carbohydrate, high-protein meal replacement beverages. These meet 100% of RDA, with no additional vitamins or minerals needed.
• Weekly medical monitoring provided by professional staff
• Development of new eating, exercise, and lifestyle behaviors through weekly group meetings led by licensed professional staff
• Transition phase designed to gradually guide you back to a healthy diet and help you maintain your weight loss
• Weight maintenance program offering monthly support sessions and access to New Directions products to help you prevent weight gain
• Use of the Baptist Healthplex (Jackson and Madison) for up to three months is included in your joining fee. Personal trainers are on staff at both locations. (Personal training fees are not included.)

Qualifications:

• You must be 18 years of age or older
• Body Mass Index (BMI) of 30 or greater
• This program is not recommended for people with Type 1 Insulin Dependent Diabetics
